How to Make a Villager Weaponsmith

Creating a villager weaponsmith in your Minecraft world can add a whole new layer of depth to your gameplay. Whether you’re looking to enhance your character’s combat capabilities or simply want to craft unique weapons for your villagers, this guide will walk you through the process of making a villager weaponsmith. By following these steps, you’ll be able to craft and sell a variety of weapons to other villagers, providing them with the tools they need to protect your community.

Step 1: Gathering Resources

Before you can create a villager weaponsmith, you’ll need to gather the necessary resources. The primary resources you’ll need are iron, cobblestone, and a workbench. Iron is used to craft the weapons, while cobblestone is used to build the weaponsmith’s house. The workbench is required for crafting items.

To gather iron, you can either mine it directly from the ground or purchase it from a villager who has already set up a trading post. Cobblestone can be obtained by mining stone blocks with an iron pickaxe or higher. Finally, you’ll need to craft a workbench using four wood planks and two stone blocks.

Step 2: Building the Weaponsmith’s House

Once you have all the necessary resources, it’s time to build the weaponsmith’s house. This should be a small, cozy structure with enough space to store items and work on crafting. Place the cobblestone blocks in a square formation, then place a door at one of the open sides. Inside, you can add a crafting table and a chest for storage.

Step 3: Trading with the Villager

Now that you have the weaponsmith’s house, it’s time to find a villager to convert into a weaponsmith. To do this, you’ll need to trade with a villager who has a blacksmith’s inventory. Trade one emerald for the blacksmith’s inventory, and you should receive a villager with the blacksmith’s profession.

Step 4: Crafting Weapons

With the villager converted into a weaponsmith, you can now begin crafting weapons. Place the villager in front of the crafting table and open the inventory. You’ll see a blacksmith’s forge icon on the right side of the inventory. Click on the forge to open the blacksmithing menu.

Here, you can craft various weapons, such as swords, bows, and shields. To craft a sword, for example, you’ll need two iron ingots, one stick, and one leather. Simply drag the required items into the crafting grid and click the “Craft” button.

Step 5: Selling Weapons

Once the weapons are crafted, the villager weaponsmith will automatically start selling them. They’ll display the weapons on their workbench, and other villagers can purchase them for emeralds. You can adjust the prices by right-clicking on the weapon and selecting “Set Price.”

By following these steps, you can create a villager weaponsmith in your Minecraft world and provide your villagers with the tools they need to protect your community. Happy crafting!
