A breakup letter to my boyfriend
Dear John,
I have been putting off writing this letter for what feels like an eternity, but I believe it is time to be honest with you about our relationship. It is with a heavy heart that I must inform you that I have decided to end our relationship.
Our time together has been filled with many wonderful memories, but lately, I have found myself feeling more and more disconnected from you. It is not because of anything you have done, but rather because I have grown as a person and realized that we are not on the same path in life.
I have come to the conclusion that we need different things from our relationship, and I believe that we would both be happier if we pursued our individual goals and aspirations. I have spent countless nights reflecting on our time together, and I have realized that I am not the person I used to be, and neither are you.
I want to thank you for the love and support you have shown me over the years. You have been a great friend, and I will always cherish the memories we have created together. However, I believe that it is in our best interest to go our separate ways and focus on our personal growth.
I am not saying that our relationship was a failure, but rather that it was a learning experience that has helped me grow as a person. I hope that you can understand my decision and that we can remain friends moving forward.
Please know that this was not an easy decision for me to make, and I am truly sorry for any hurt this may cause you. I hope that we can both find happiness and fulfillment in our future endeavors.
With love and respect,
Sarah
