How to Put Video in Slow Motion on iPhone
In today’s fast-paced world, capturing life’s fleeting moments in slow motion can add a unique touch to your videos. Whether you want to showcase a sports highlight or simply create a creative video, the ability to slow down a video on your iPhone is a valuable feature. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to put video in slow motion on your iPhone.
Step 1: Record a Video
First, you need to record a video on your iPhone. Ensure that you have the latest version of iOS installed on your device, as older versions may not support slow-motion recording. Open the Camera app and select the video mode. The slow-motion recording is available in 1080p at 120 fps (frames per second) on iPhone 8 and later models.
Step 2: Import the Video into the Camera Roll
After recording the video, you need to import it into the Camera Roll. Open the Photos app, navigate to the “Camera” album, and find the video you want to slow down. Tap on the video to open it, then tap the “Share” button (the box with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom left corner of the screen. Select “Save Video” to save the video to your Camera Roll.
Step 3: Open the “Slow Motion” App
Next, open the “Slow Motion” app on your iPhone. This app is designed specifically for slowing down videos and is available for free on the App Store. If you don’t have the app installed, download it from the App Store and open it.
Step 4: Import the Video into the “Slow Motion” App
In the “Slow Motion” app, tap the “+” button at the bottom right corner of the screen to import a video. Select the video you saved to your Camera Roll in Step 2. The app will automatically slow down the video to 50% speed.
Step 5: Adjust the Speed (Optional)
If you want to adjust the speed of the video, tap the “Speed” button at the bottom of the screen. You can choose from several speed options, including 50%, 25%, and 12.5%. Select the desired speed and tap “Apply.”
Step 6: Export the Slow-Motion Video
Once you’re satisfied with the speed of the video, tap the “Export” button at the bottom right corner of the screen. Choose the desired format and quality for your video, then tap “Export.” The app will process the video and save it to your Camera Roll.
Step 7: Share or Use the Slow-Motion Video
Now that you have a slow-motion video, you can share it on social media, send it to friends, or use it in other projects. Simply open the Photos app, navigate to the “Camera Roll” album, and find the slow-motion video you created. Tap on the video to open it, then tap the “Share” button to share it or use it in other apps.
By following these simple steps, you can easily put video in slow motion on your iPhone and create captivating content that will leave a lasting impression.
